BACKGROUND
On January 6, 2004, Silver Star Communications submitted its revised Local Exchange
Service Tariff No. 5 to the Commission. The revisions to its tariff reflect minor wording and
formatting changes that Staff and the Company have been discussing for several months.
One item that was added by Silver Star is Directory Assistance for $0.95 per call. This
service has always been offered by the Company at this rate but was not clearly described in the
tariff. No other rates, terms or services were affected by this filing.
Staff has reviewed the revised tariff and recommends that Silver Star Communications
Local Exchange Service Tariff No. 5 be accepted for filing.
