The IPUC staff has done a tremendous job capturing all aspects of energy affordability. The
one thing that is very evident is that Intermountain Gas is not contributing anywhere near
what the other utilities do. The only funds that can actually be attributed to I. G. direct
efforts are their once a year donations of foundation dollars. All other monies are being
raised by the communities involved and customers. $10,000 in 3 years spread over 17 counties
in SE Idaho hardly seems equitable considering what the other major utilities in Idaho and
Washington contribute.
