THE GEM STATE ADVICE 2003-08 TO ADD SIMPLE CHOICE ONE
WITH VOICE MAIL, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1 , 2003
CenturyTel ofIdaho and CenturyTel of the Gem State filed these tariff advices to propose
an expansion of the area where Simple Choice One with Voice Mail could be offered.
Simple Choice One with Voice Mail provides a number of calling features as well as
Privacy Protector and Voice Mail. CenturyTel originally offered the service "where available
and it was generally available only in the base rate area. The Company now proposes to offer it
outside the Base Rate for $2.00 per customer more. The Commission originally approved this
package for both CenturyTel operations within the base rate areas in April 2003.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that these tariff advices be approved effective December I , 2003.
