Dear Mr. Olson:
On February 24, 1999, the Commission issued a Notice of Modified Procedure concerning your Application for initial authority to operate as a common/contract motor carrier in Idaho.  The Commission’s Notice of Modified Procedure required that persons protesting your Application do so no later than March 17, 1999.
On March 16, 1999, the Commission received the attached protest to your Application.  Before the Commission considers your request for motor carrier authority, you are being provided an opportunity to respond to the protest.  If you desire to respond to the statement of protest, please file your response no later than April 1, 1999.  After receiving your response, if any, the Commission will then consider your Application, the protest, and your response and render a decision regarding your Application for motor carrier authority.
