On January 1,1998,Mountain Fuel Supply Company changed its name to Questar
Gas Company.To reflect this name change,the COMMISSIONHEREBY CERTIFIES that
the Public Convenience and Necessity requires and will require QuestarGasCompany,a corporation and a public utility company,its successorsandassigns,to hold,construct or otherwise acquire and to maintain andoperateageneralnaturalgastransmissionanddistributionsystemintheSoutheasternportionofFranklinCountyandinthecitiesofFranklinandPreston,for supplying natural gas to the municipalities and rural areassituatedthereinandtotheinhabitantsthereof.Questar Gas Companymayown,hold,construct or otherwise acquire and maintain and operatewithinsaidcertificatedareaallplantnecessaryforthemaintenanceofanaturalgastransmissionanddistributionsystem,and exercise all rightsandprivilegesgranted,or which may hereafter be granted Questar GasCompany,its successors and assigns,by franchise or otherwise by thesaidcountyandmunicipalitiesoranyofthemorbytheStateofIdahoorbyanypoliticalsubdivisionoftheStateofIdaho.
This Certificate is predicated upon and issued pursuant to the findings contained in
Order No.23282,service dated August 17,1990,to which reference is hereby made.
