CERTIFICATE NO. 315
On January 1 , 1998, Mountain Fuel Supply Company changed its name to Questar
Gas Company. To reflect this name change, the COMMISSION HEREBY CERTIFIES that
the Public Convenience and Necessity requires and will require Questar
Gas Company, a corporation and a public utility company, its successors
and assigns, to hold, construct or otherwise acquire and to maintain and
operate a general natural gas transmission and distribution system in the
Southeastern portion of Franklin County and in the cities of Franklin and
Preston, for supplying natural gas to the municipalities and rural areas
situated therein and to the inhabitants thereof. Questar Gas Companymay own, hold, construct or otherwise acquire and maintain and operate
within said certificated area all plant necessary for the maintenance of a
natural gas transmission and distribution system, and exercise all rightsand privileges granted, or which may hereafter be granted Questar GasCompany, its successors and assigns, by franchise or otherwise by thesaid county and municipalities or any of them or by the State of Idaho or
by any political subdivision of the State ofIdaho.
This Certificate is predicated upon and issued pursuant to the findings contained in
Order No. 23282 , service dated August 17, 1990, to which reference is hereby made.
