SUBJECT:INTERMOUNTAIN GAS COMPLIANCE TARIFF FILING -RNG
FACILITATION PLAN COMMISSION ORDER NO.35891 ---CASE NO.
INT-G-23-03
BACKGROUND
On June 9,2023,Intermountain Gas Company ("Intermountain"or "Company")applied
to the Commission for authority to modify its Renewable Natural Gas ("RNG")Facilitation Plan
in three ways:(1)by institutinga new maintenance fee applicable to RNG producers requiring
facilities to export natural gas to an interstate pipeline;(2)by establishing a method for
calculating monthlyaccess fees;and (3)by clarifying that the InterruptibleDistribution
Transportation Service ("Schedule T-3")tariff rate will apply to the transport of RNG using the
Company's distribution system to any interconnection point with Northwest Pipeline.The
Company's Application included several supporting exhibits and requested an effective date of
July 1,2023.In Order No.35830 the Commission suspended the Company's proposed effective
date until September 1,2023,unless an earlier order is issued.
On August 15,2023,the Commission issued Order No.35891 approving the Company's
request for authorityto update its RNG Facilitation Plan,effective on the service date of the
Order.The Commission also ordered the Company to update the Schedule T-3 tariff as proposed
in its Application with Staff's additional recommended language and submit a compliance filing
with the updated language within 14 days of receiving the final tariff sheets in Case No.INT-G-
22-07 (the Company's general rate case).

STAFF ANALYSIS
On August 21,2023,the Company submitted a Compliance Filing to revise Schedule T-3
in compliance with Commission Order No.35891.Staff reviewed the Compliance Filing along
with the language changes to the revised Schedule T-3 tariff and confirmed the proposed changes
are in compliance with the Commission's findings in Commission Order No.35891 with one
exception.The revised Schedule T-3 tariff sheet provided with the Compliance Filing included
an effective date of August 29,2023.In Order No.35891 the Commission approvedthe
effective date to be the service date of the Order,which was August 15,2023.Staff
communicated with the Company informally regarding the incongruitysurrounding the effective
date and the Company resubmitted a revised Schedule T-3 tariff sheet on August 22,2023,to
correct the effective date.The resubmitted Compliance Filing includes an effective date of
August 15,2023,consistent with Order No.35891.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission approve the Company's revised Schedule T-3 tariff
sheet submitted on August 22,2023,reflecting the Schedule T-3 language approved in
Commission Order No.35891 with an effective date of August 15,2023.
