Comment: "IPUC Thank you for giving me this opportunity to file this complaint against Intermountain Gas regarding their request for a 16.6% rate increase. Speaking for myself and
other senior friends I have grown skeptical of such large rate increases. Like most other public utilities, Intermountain Gas has a monopoly regarding its product. We are experiencing price
increases no matter what we purchase and this increase simply adds another burden to my already bloated cost of living. Inflation is out of control and a possible recession is threatening
our economy. I would like to see public utilities develop more creative ways to deal with their cost increases. Perhaps dissolve the monopolies and maybe reduce their profit margins.
