Wade Circle Boise, ID 83705 Name of Ulity Company: Intermountain Gas Case ID: INT-G-22-07 Comment: "This is my first comment, aer decades of services. I am extremely concerned about the cost of natural gas through Intermountain Gas. Let me note, I received a Intermtn Gas Company noce in August 2022 (the 10th of that month) with noce of that IGC filed for decrease in prices. Aside from that, in February 2022 I went to auto pay, level pay program and was paying $29.00 per month. My usage bill had been in this range for quite some me. My home is mixed gas and electric and I have lived here for around 30 years. In July 2022, just 5 months since my level pay auto pay program started - the monthly amount went from $29.00 to $51.00. You bet I called IGC and they said sorry, the individual who inially calculated your level pay amount did it incorrectly...So... the very next month of August 2022 - my bill came and it was now at a level pay amount, even higher, from $51.00 to $63.00. (I thought maybe my call to them I was rude, and the wow - the price is way up. the 'litle people' syndrome is what I am experiencing. I did not call and rant and rave about it). From 8/12/22-thru January 2023. I paid, auto withdrawal mind you, $63.00 per month... The most recent bill of 2/2/2023, a mere 6 months since the last rate increses - is NOW UP TO $73.00 per month. My gosh - .My 'therms' are a litler higher in some spots AND even a litle lower too... . I understand that yet another increase is proposed and before you at this me, and although I may not have a 'real' vote - please note I firmly oppose any addional increases. Our explosive growth shouldn't be the cost, seems gas prices have stabilized out? In summary, in 16 months, $29 to $51 then to $63, then to $73 - is my reason to oppose. I am aware that increases are necessary, BUT not to this extent. IGC needs to pause and figure this out. Please read and share as appropriate. Thank you, " ------ htps://puc.intranet.idaho.gov/apps/intranet/Comment [Opens the PUC Intranet applicaon] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: PUCWeb Noficaon <Do.Not.Reply@puc.idaho.gov> Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2023 10:00 AM 2 To: Jan Noriyuki <jan.noriyuki@puc.idaho.gov> Subject: Noce: A comment was submited to PUCWeb The following comment was submited via PUCWeb: Name: William Dege Submission Time: Apr 27 2023 9:25AM Email: bhawkid@gmail.com Telephone: 208-963-5131 Address: 2080 w. My rate in February went up from $0.55523 to $0.69115 a 24.5 % increase, I see no jusficaon for another increase. It should be a decrease in the “commodity price of gas”." ------ htps://puc.intranet.idaho.gov/apps/intranet/Comment [Opens the PUC Intranet applicaon] -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
