ORDER NO. 35877

On December 1, 2022, Intermountain Gas Company (“Company”), applied to the Idaho
Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) for authority to increase its rates and charges for
natural gas service in the State of Idaho effective January 1, 2023.
On June 30, 2023, the Commission issued Order No. 35836, approving a settlement that
gives the Company an increase revenue requirement of $3.05 million and a corresponding across-
the-board increase for all customer classes. On June 30, 2023, the Company submitted a
compliance filing with new tariffs in response to Order No. 35836.
On August 1, 2023, at the Commission’s Decision Meeting, Commission Staff presented
a Decision Memo indicating it had reviewed the tariffs included in the compliance filing and
confirmed the tariffs were consistent with the Commission’s directive in Order No. 35836. Staff
recommended Commission approval, effective as of July 1, 2023.
The Commission now issues this Order approving the Company’s proposed tariffs.
COMMISSION FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
The Commission has jurisdiction over this matter under Idaho Code §§ 61-502 and 61-
503. The Commission is empowered to investigate rates, charges, rules, regulations, practices, and
contracts of public utilities and to determine whether they are just, reasonable, preferential,
discriminatory, or in violation of any provision of law, and to fix the same by order. Idaho Code §§
61-502 and 61-503.
Having reviewed the tariffs filed by the Company in compliance with Order No. 35836,
we find the tariffs comply with our directives.
O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Company’s tariffs are approved, as filed, effective as
of July 1, 2023.

THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date upon this Order regarding any
matter decided in this Order. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for
reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code §§ 61-
626.
