Alder Point Place Boise, ID 83704 Name of Utility Company: Intermountain Gas Case ID: INT-G-22-02 Comment: "Commissioners I believe a 25% increase in fees will hurt many Idaho residents. Inflation resulting in increased food prices, gas prices and now with higher rent costs are effecting monthly living costs negatively, Entry level jobs, even with better hourly wages are still not able to provide enough income to cover basic expenses. Many jobs are part time or seasonal and most workers rely on cars for transportation to work. They may earn just enough to be unable to qualify for the programs of aid. One emergency or life changing event(s) may cause a cascade of problems and lead to instability. Seniors on fixed incomes would suffer also. Many costs are out side of their control for all these groups. Given, Intermountain Gas is also being hit with higher prices, but 25% increase will effect too many groups of people barely managing to exist on unstable or fixed incomes. Hopefully there can be a reasonable negotiated price increase that help both groups to survive extraordinary times."------
