INT-G-21-01. On January 12, 2021, Intermountain Gas Company (“Company”) applied to the Commission requesting authority to decrease its depreciation and amortization rates from a combined 2.97% (when weighted by December 31, 2019 assets) to 2.55%. The effect of the proposal would be to decrease the Company’s annual depreciation and amortization expense by $2,858,965. The Company requests its Application be processed by Modified Procedure and that rates be effective retroactively to January 1, 2021. On February 8, 2021, the Commission issued a Notice of Intervention Deadline and Notice of Application. Order No. 34914. The intervention period passed, and no one intervened. Staff conferred with the Company about scheduling. Staff and the Company agreed that the Application should be processed via modified procedure with a June 8, 2021 comment deadline and a June 22, 2021 reply deadline. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a June 8, 2021 public comment deadline and a June 22, 2021 Company reply deadline.
