RE:TDS Telecom Advice 03-03P to increase the Federal Lifeline credit according
to the FCC MAG Program, effective July 1, 2003
TDS Telecom filed this Tariff Advice for Potlatch Telephone Company to increase the
Federal Lifeline credit from $6.00 to $6.50 to comply with the FCC's MAG order. This is the
portion of the Federal Lifeline credit that reimburses qualified customers for the Federal
Subscriber Line Charge. The increased Subscriber Line Charge will increase the total credit to
ITSAP customers from $13.00 to $13.50 but the increase will occur on the Federal side and will
not affect the Idaho ITSAP credit.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of this Tariff Advice effective June 30, 2003. Does the
Commission agree?
