Dear [RNG Producer]:
lntermountain Gas Company (lntermountain) appreciates the opportunity to work with you as
together our companies provide renewable natural gas (RNG) to customers in the western U.S
market. I am writing to you today to inform you that on May 4,2O2O,lntermountain filed the above
referenced Case regarding lntermountain's RNG operations with the ldaho Public Utilities
Commission (Commission).
This Case will serve to standardize service terms and conditions for all RNG producers including a
monthly O&M charge, a monthly Access Fee, a provision that requires new RNG projects to pay the
appropriate income tax gross-up on project costs and other general rules that protect our utility
customers from any risk relative to RNG operations. Any change to current operations would only
be effective after a Commission ruling. If you are an existing customer, this Case wil! not arbitrarily
change terms or conditions of any executed contract or agreement. lf the Commission approves this
proposal and a resultant Commission Order conflicts with any existing contract term or condition,
we hope to find mutually agreeable common ground to resolve any such difference.
As with all Commission filings, lntermountain's application is a proposal and is subject to public
review and comment and to Commission jurisdiction. A copy of this application is available for public
review on the Commission's website (puc.idaho.gov) or at lntermountain's website
(www.intgas.com/rates-services/comission-filings/). You can follow this Case, review all relevant
subsequently filed documents or submit comments on the Commission website.
