BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION
for an Extension to File its FERC Form 2
Case No. INT-G-20-02 PETITION OF INTERMOUNTAIN GAS COMPANY
Intermountain Gas Company (“Intermountain” or “Company”), a subsidiary of MDU
Resources Group, Inc. with general offices located at 555 South Cole Road, Boise, Idaho, pursuant
to the Rules of Procedure of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”), respectfully
petitions the Commission to issue an order authorizing an extension of the filing deadline for the
Company’s FERC Form 2 from April 15, 2020 to April 30, 2020. Intermountain requests that this
filing be processed under the Commission’s Modified Procedure rules through the use of written
comments.

PETITION FOR EXTENSION OF FERC FORM 2 DEADLINE – Page 2 15073494_3_INT-G-20- FERC Form 2 Extension (Clean)
In support of this Petition, Intermountain alleges and states as follows:
I. INTRODUCTION
Intermountain is required to file its completed FERC Form 2 with the Commission by April
15 of each year.
In following the Governor’s Stay-Home order, all non-essential staff for Intermountain are
currently working from home. This includes the Company’s Accounting personnel that complete
the FERC Form 2. Because the software used to complete the report is relatively old, printing the
completed report to an electronic format for submission is not possible.
The Company requests that the deadline for filing the 2020 FERC Form 2 report be
extended from April 15, 2020 to April 30, 2020. Assuming the Governor’s Stay-Home order is
lifted by April 20, 2020, the April 30, 2020 deadline should allow adequate time for the Company to
print and file the report. If the Stay-Home Order extends past April 20, 2020 and the Company is
unable to file the report by April 30, 2020, the Company will make another extension request to the
Commission.
II. MODIFIED PROCEDURE
Intermountain requests that this matter be handled under modified procedure pursuant to
Rules 201-204 of the Commission’s Rules of Procedure. Intermountain stands ready for immediate
consideration of this matter.
III. REQUEST FOR RELIEF
Intermountain respectfully petitions the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to issue an Order
authorizing an extension of the filing deadline for the Company’s FERC Form 2 from April 15,
2020 to April 30, 2020.
DATED: March 31, 2020.
