"INFRASTRUCTURE INTEGRITYMANAGEMENTMECHANISM"-that is a mouthful and sounds serious.Let us end the
subterfuge and call it what is really is -a disguised attempt at increasing company profits.
Any company's operations are affected by the upkeep of the mechanical,electrical and computer ends of things,
Intermountain Gas Company no exception.However this filing is a flagrant attempt to throw company maintenance
costs on the ratepayers.
If this were a non-profit I could see otherwise,but a for-profit venture as Intermountain Gas is responsible for using
some of its profits to keep operations in working order.This is where the costs associated with pipeline maintenance
should derive -profits.
Call it what you may;maintenance,capital improvements or just plain paying to replace worn out parts.
I ask that you see the true facts of the situation here and deny any request of the ratepayers to fund this company
request.
