NOTICE OF APPLICATION YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Company seeks an order that changes the way it accounts for depreciation and amortization.The Company asks to:(1)increase its composite depreciation rate from 3.05%(3.09%when weighted by December 31,2016 assets)to 3.18%; and (2)decrease its total General Plant account amortizations from $2,066.577 to $1,648,415. The Company says it needs to make changes because its most recent studies show that overall it under-depreciates its assets and over-amortizes General Plant Accounts.The Companystates it is not proposing to increase the prices that customers pay for natural gas service in this case. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application and any supporting workpapers and exhibits have been filed with the Commission and are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Commission offices.The Application and attachments are also available on the Commission's Website at www.puc.idaho.gov under "File Room"and then "Natural Gas Cases." NOTICE OF APPLICATION NOTICE OF INTERVENTION DEADLINE ORDER NO.33934 1 NOTICE OF INTERVENTION DEADLINE YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that persons who wish to intervene in this matter to obtain the rights of party (e.g.to file formal discovery,present evidence,or cross-examine witnesses at a hearing)must file a Petition to Intervene with the Commission under Commission Rules of Procedure 72 and 73,IDAPA 31.01.01.072 and .073.Persons who wish to intervene as a party must file a petitionto Intervene no later than 14 days from the service date of this Order.Such persons shall also provide the Commission Secretary with their electronic mail address to facilitate further communications in this case. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that after the intervention deadline runs,the Commission Secretary shall issue a Notice of Parties.The Notice of Parties shall assign exhibit numbers to each party in this proceeding.After the Notice of Parties is issued,Commission Staff shall meet with the Company and with any intervening parties who wish to participate in the meeting,and attempt to settle any issues presented by the Company's Application.Commission Staff will then report back to the Commission on the outcome of the meeting. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that persons who would like to present their views without parties'rights of participation and cross-examination are not required to intervene and may present their comments without prior notification to the Commission or to other parties.
