INT-G-16-02 ) ) NOTICE OF ) PUBLIC HEARING __________________ ) On August 12, 2016, Intermountain Gas Company applied to the Commission for authority to increase its rates and charges for natural gas service by $10.2 million ( 4.06%). The Company requested a September 12, 2016 effective date. The Commission subsequently issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline, and suspended the proposed effective date for 30 days plus 5 months under Idaho Code § 61-622( 4). On November 14, 2016, the Commission issued a Notice of Schedule, Notice of Public Workshop, and Notice of Technical 1Iearing. Order No. 33648. The Commission also indicated that a public hearing may be scheduled at a later date NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene public hearing in this matter to take testimony from customers, public officials, and other interested members of the public. The public hearing will convene on THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 2017, AT 7:00 P.M. {MST), IN THE COMMISSION'S HEARING ROOM, AT 472 W. WASHINGTON, BOISE, IDAHO. Persons may testify or listen to the proceedings by appearing in the hearing room at that time. In addition, persons may use a telephone to testify or listen to the proceedings by calling into the hearing, toll-free: (800) 920-7487; Participant Code 76373262. The telephonic portion of the hearing will be conducted as follows: • Those wishing to testify call the number beginning at 6:45 p.m. (MST). • Names will be taken of those wanting to testify as they call in. • When it is your turn to testify, one of the commissioners will call out your name. You will then be asked to state your name and address and be sworn m. • When you testify we ask that you eliminate any background noise, such as the TV, radio, etc., in order for us to clearly hear and record your NOTICE OF PUBLJC HEARING testimony. At the conclusion of your testimony, you may be asked questions. • While people are welcome to listen to the entire hearing, they can speak only when they testify. The Commission is conducting this hearing both in person and by telephone in an effort to make it easier for more customers to participate in the hearing. At this time, the Commission intends only to hold one hearing for customers, as noted above. If, however, the Commission receives written comments from customers or other interested persons specifically asking the Commission to schedule additional in-person public hearings in other parts of the State, the Commission will consider those requests. Persons desiring the Commission to consider setting an additional in-person hearing should specifically request such a hearing in their written comments, and explain why the in-person and telephonic public hearing scheduled above was insufficient. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that if you are unable to participate in the public hearing but would nevertheless like to provide input into the case, you may file written comments with the Commission about the case through the date of the customer hearing set above. The comments may be mailed to the Commission at the address referenced in the following paragraph, or they may be e-mailed by accessing the Commission's home page located at www.puc.idaho.gov. Scroll to the "Consumers" tab, click the "Utility Case Comment or Question Form," and complete the form using the case number as it appears on the front of this document. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings in this case will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.
