Add to Mailing List: no Please describe your comment briefly: I i m in favor of Intermountain Gas Co.' s proposal to interrupt service for snow melt customers as needed. I think they should be able to charge significantly more for this type of gas consumption and also should have a higher rate for consumers who use over a certain amount of gas per month. We need to discourage huge homes and profligate uses of our precious natural resources. Add to Mailing List: yes Please describe your comment briefly: The days of consumptive use of non-renewable resources for the melting of snow on driveways and sidewalks are finally over. This was a bad idea to start with and it' s about time someone took the initiative to put a stop(at least partially) to it! Please install interruptible service to ALL snowmelt customers, new and existing, ASAP! Let the president of the USA know you have a stimulation package to help all towns in snow country. Lets put our unemployed workers back to work, by letting them shovel snow from our sidewalks and driveways. Good on you for coming up with a great idea, and for helping out the environment. Maybe you can put peoples names in the local papers who voluntarily agree to have interruptible service valves installed on their snowmelt systems. Thanks for allowing me to comment, put me down for a YES to deny snowmelt users. Councilman DeWayne Briscoe brought up the issue of interruption of service to customers who use snow melting equipment. He expressed concern regarding the short comment period allowed on the issue especially during the time of the year when many Sun Valley residents are not in town. The short comment period during the holiday season when many people are busy with family and special events was also discussed. The Mayor and City Council asked that concerns regarding the short comment period be conveyed to the proper authority and respectfully request that the comment period be extended to allow for greater input from those that will be affected. thank you The form submitted on http://www . puc. idaho. gov Iforms/ipuc1/ipuc . html IP address is 72.214.132.56 1
