Please describe your comment briefly:
Dear Commissioners.... please consider a surcharge for snow melt usage above a certain
threshold of gas consumption rather than interruptible service... e. g., assuming new
construction with normal R rated insulation, a home of 'x' square feet should normally be
expected to use a certain amount of gas in the winter.. . if this is exceeded in a spike
through the use of snow melt, charge extra for it as opposed to curtailing or interrupting
the service... or meter the snow melt system separately (at homeowner i s expense) and charge at
pre- announced 'spike i usage rates... thanks for your consideration!
