On August 8 , 2005 , Intermountain Gas Company filed its annual Purchased Gas Cost
Adjustment (PGA) Application with the Commission. The Application requests authority to
place new rate schedules in effect as of October 1 , 2005 , that will increase annualized revenues
by $67.6 million (27.2%). The PGA mechanism is used to adjust rates to reflect changes in the
costs for the purchase of gas from the Williams Northwest Pipeline and other suppliers
including the transportation, storage, and other related costs of acquiring natural gas. See Order
No. 26019. The Commission directed Staff to conduct two public workshops pursuant to
Commission Rule of Procedure 125 , IDAP A 31.01.01.125. Order No. 29856.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Public Workshop #1 will convene on
MONDAY~ SEPTEMBER 12~ 2005~ AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE POCATELLO CITY HALL~
IN THE COUNCIL ROOM~ 911 NORTH 7 POCATELLO~ IDAHO The purpose of this
workshop is for the Staff to dispense information concerning Intermountain Gas Company
Application and to receive written or oral comments from the public prior to the Staff filing
testimony or comments in this case.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that Public Workshop #2 will convene
TUESDAY~ SEPTEMBER 13~ 2005~ AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES
COMMISSION~ IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM~ 472 WEST WASHINGTON
STREET ~ BOISE~ IDAHO (334-0330).The purpose of this workshop is for the Staff to
dispense information concerning Intermountain Gas Company s Application and to receive
written or oral comments from the public prior to the Staff filing testimony or comments in this
case.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all workshops and hearings in this matter
will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
