As a concerned citizen struggling to survive in the devastating economy created
by Bush's Corporate Theological Oligarchy for the purpose of wiping out the
real middle class, I urge you to deny QUEST anymore raises or deregulation.
QUEST'S prices are already outrageous , their service terrible. We all know
that deregulation always leads to higher prices and the gouging of the consumer.
I also wish to protest giving Intermountain Gas Co. the OK to raise their prices.
this last year was a warm winter so the consumer s cost wasn t as high, but the
year before, they jumped their prices to almost double. It was scandaluous!
It is the responsibility of the PUC to protect the public from these greedy
corporations. A tremendous amount of people in Idaho have lost their jobs
as you know. They can t keep on paying the rising prices that every big
business is raising, as is the County and the City, the State tax Commission as
well as all services. Not only are the people who have lost their jobs in
trouble, but the thousands of people working who are trying to survive on
Idaho s disgraceful wages.

To Whom This May Concern:
I am protesting the Intermountain Gas rate hike. I believe
that the timing is wrong to gouge the citizens of this state
more exspenses. Everyone just got hi t wi th the Govenors sales
tax hike and the property tax hike for 2003 tax year, and now
where all looking at the natural gas rate hike r The economy is
very weak wi th people being laid off and having to live from
hand to month and not knowing where there next monies are going
to come from. Everyone just can I t handle all the extra exspenses
laid on them.
In my case I just transfered all my ut lit ies over to gas two
months ago thinking that I would save money, but in comparing
my first and last months bill, ! am not sure that I made the
right choice. I still have all my other utility equipment and
if the commission approves this rate hike I won I t be able to
afford gas, so I will install all my oId equipment back into
my house.

It strikes me that the very substantial increase in gas rates requested
by the Intermountain Gas Company is so great that it smacks of
unrealistic gas costs being passed on to consumers or a desire to
make more than a fair profit. I urge the Commission to rule on a fair

Intermountain Gas Thiefs their request to increast natural gas prices by approximately
This is highway robbery and since we have absolutely no alternative suppliers , it
reeks of a monopoly.
Apparently the Idaho PUC is in cahoots wi th 1M Gas and I I m appalled. We already pay WAY
TOO MUCH for natural gas and in a time when the economy is going down the drain , this
no time to screw the consumers WHO HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE.
Shame on those who voted for this increase.
