2002 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan

Dear Mr. McGrath:

Please be advised that the Commission has completed its review of the Company’s 2002 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan submitted in Case No. INT-G-02-2 and has considered the filings of record, including the comments of Commission Staff and the Northwest Industrial Gas Users. By this letter the Commission accepts the filing and acknowledges that it satisfies the Commission’s requirements as set forth in Order No. 25342, Case No. GNR-G-93-2 (Reference PURPA Section 303(b)(3), Energy Policy Act of 1992). The Commission appreciates the Company’s efforts and hopes that the preparation of the document has proven to be of operational benefit to the Company.

Section 3 of the Policies Addressing Integrated Resource Planning adopted by the Commission in Order No. 25342 requires that natural gas utilities file an Integrated Resource Plan on a biennial basis. To allow interested parties an opportunity to review the Company’s 2004 Integrated Resource Plan before the 2004 Purchased Gas Adjustment filing, the Commission requests that Intermountain Gas file its 2004 Plan no later than March 1, 2004.
