RE:QWEST CORPORATION'S MOTION FOR WITHDRAWAL OF AN
APPLICATION FORAPPROV AL OF AMENDMENT TO INTERCONNECTION
AGREEMENT. CASE NO. USW-99-23.
On October 22, 2002, Qwest Corporation filed a Motion for Withdrawal of an
Application for approval of an Amendment to the underlying interconnection agreement in this case.
Qwest requests that the Commission allow the Company to withdraw this Application and
Amendment filed on August 29, 2002. Qwest states that this Application and Amendment were
erroneously filed in this case as they were intended to be filed with a new interconnection agreement
that was being negotiated by the parties. In Case No. QWE- T -02-20 Qwest and New Edge Networks
filed an Application for Approval of a new interconnection agreement. Included with this
Application is the same Amendment that Qwest seeks to withdraw now from this case.
No party has filed a response to Qwest's motion.
I The original interconnection agreement between Qwest Corporation, (known at the time as US WEST), and New Edge
Networks was approved by the Commission on November 18 1999. Order No. 28202.
