HomeMy WebLinkAboutIXCinfo.docINTEREXCHANGE CARRIER INFORMATION Idaho Code requires telecommunications providers providing MTS/WATS and/or Access to local networks to file price lists containing the "availability, price, and terms and conditions" of the telecommunications services being offered. Interexchange Carriers, Operator Services, Calling Card Providers and miscellaneous providers of long distance/toll calling services are included in this category of services. Price Lists for Title 62 companies (those telecommunications service providers other than incumbent local exchange carriers) closely resemble tariffs except that they are not approved by the Commission -- they are accepted for filing. However, Staff will review tariff/price list submittals to ensure that they comply with Idaho rules and laws. Price lists should include detailed information regarding products and rates. Surcharges, discounts, hours of availability, minimum service periods and other conditions of service must be detailed. (IDAPA 31.42.01.203) Some requirements are listed here: Tariff/Pricelists Requirements. https://puc.idaho.gov/Fileroom/PublicFiles/tariff/usermanual.pdf It is important to remember when the company ceases to do business in Idaho, the Commission must be notified so that the price list can be removed from the files. In addition, prospective long distance providers must include with their applications copies of their Certificates of Authority to do business in the state of Idaho. These certificates are provided by the Secretary of State: Secretary of State Link
