RE: Notice of Intent to File a Combined Electric and Natural Gas General Rate Case
In compliance with the minimum sixty day notice requirement of Rule 122 of the IPUC Rules of
Procedure "Notice of Intent to File a General Rate Case," Avista Corporation herein provides
notice to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission that the Company intends to file a combined
electric and natural gas general rate case on or after October 10, 2012. It is the Company's intent
to utilize the 12-month period ending June 30, 2012, as the test year for its filing. The
Company's proposal would propose rates become effective no sooner than April 1, 2013 in
accordance with the Company's prior Order No. 32371 in Case Nos. AVU-E-1 1-01 and AVU-G-
11-01. The Company implemented a general rate change in the state of Idaho on October 1, 2011
for electric and natural gas customers.
