THOSE SERVICES ARE CUSTOMER MOVES AND CHANGES (CMAC) AND STATION MESSAGE DETAIL RECORDING (SMDR). BACKGROUND On October 4, 2002 , Verizon filed its Tariff Advice 02-13 to introduce two new optional services, Customer Moves and Changes (CMAC) and Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) that will be made available for its customers who subscribe to CentraNet Service. CentraNet Service is a service offering that uses the advanced capabilities of electronic central offices to incorporate individual business lines into a single communications system. The customer purchases an access line (CentraNet station line) separately from the desired feature package. The station lines provide access to the central office switching capabilities while the CentraNet packages, applied to each station line, provide a set of station and system calling features. The new service offerings proposed by Verizon will enhance the current CentraNet Service. Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) will allow customers to access their call data using a newer platform than what is currently tariffed. This call data can be accessed either through the internet, via dialup to a centralized location or via dedicated access from the serving DECISION MEMORANDUM OCTOBER 8, 2002 Central Office to the customer s premises. The second product, Customer Moves and Changes (CMAC), provides Centranet customers with the ability to prepare, schedule, and implement certain feature changes and configurations of their CentraNet service from their own computer terminal.
