SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF AVISTA CORPORATION’S 2023 NATURAL GAS
INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN (IRP); CASE NO. AVU-G-23-03.
On March 31, 2023, Avista Corporation, d/b/a/ Avista Utilities (“Avista” or “Company”)
filed its 2023 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan (“IRP”) with the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission (“Commission”). The 2023 IRP identifies a strategic natural gas resource portfolio
to meet customer demand requirements. On April 10, 2023, Commission Staff (“Staff”)
recommended the Commission issue a Notice of Application and set an intervention deadline. In
Order No. 35765, the Commission provided notice and established the intervention deadline. No
one intervened.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure establishing an
August 17, 2023, public comment deadline and a September 7, 2023, Company reply deadline.
COMMISSION DECISION

August 17, 2023, public comment deadline and a September 7, 2023, Company reply deadline?
