Comment: "I believe Avista asking for a rate hike like this is absurd. The cost of living over the past year to 2 years has been ridiculous. A large majority of families now days are barely
getting by. A rate hike would cause a lot more family’s to be in hard times. This isn’t a little hike in price. Why don’t they make people with electric cars register with them and charge
them more. The unreal electric car craze is insane and I don’t think the average person should have to pay extra to help pay for the power needed for electric cars. Our grid is already taxed
adding car charging is going to over load it and they will have to upgrade everything and produce more power. You want an electric car they should be the ones paying more. Not the
typical house hold family "
