SUBJECT:IN THE MATTER OF CASE NO.AVU-G-22-01 COMPLINCE FILING
TARIFF SCHEDULE 195 "OPTIONAL RENEWABLE NATURAL GAS"
BACKGROUND
On September 2,2022,Avista Corporation ("Avista"or "Company")submitted a
compliance filing of its natural gas tariff Schedule 195.The proposed changes are a result of the
recently approved Optional Renewable Natural Gas filing which implemented Schedule 195
(Optional Renewable Natural Gas -Idaho).See Order No.35520.In OrderNo.35520 the
Commission directed the Company to file updated tariffs correcting errors described in Staff
Comments for Case No.AVU-G-22-Ol.The Company also filed an updated Tariff Index Sheet
as directed by Order No.35520.
The Company is also removing Schedule 178 (Deferred Balances Credit -Idaho)from its
Tariff index page.This removal is being made because the deferral was in effect from September
1,2021 through August 31,2022 per Order No.35150.
STAFF REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION
Staffhas reviewed the Company's filing,verified that proposed changes reflect the
required changes described in StaffComments for Case No.AVU-G-22-01 and complies with
Order Nos.35520 and 35150.Staffrecommends Commission approval of the Company's
proposed changes to Schedule 195 and removal of Schedule 178 from its Tariff index page.
