HomeMy WebLinkAbout20221006Final_Order_No_35549.pdfORDER NO. 35549 1 Office of the Secretary Service Date October 6, 2022 BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION On March 1, 2022, Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities (“Company”) applied to the Commission for authority to implement a new tariff Schedule 195—Optional Renewable Natural Gas-Idaho (“Schedule 195”). On September 2, 2022, the Commission approved the Company’s Application as filed but directed it to file updated tariffs correcting clerical errors described in Staff Comments. See Order No. 35520. On September 20, 2022, the Company filed a compliance filing (“Filing”) containing new Schedule 195 tariff sheets, and an updated Tariff Index Sheet. The Company removed Schedule 178 (Deferred Balances Credit - Idaho) from its Tariff Index Sheet because the deferral was in effect from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022, per Order No. 35150, but is no longer in effect when the Filing was made. Staff reviewed the Company’s Filing and at the Commission’s September 20, 2022 Decision Meeting, recommended the Commission approve the updated tariff sheets. COMMISSION FINDINGS AND DECISION After reviewing the Company’s Filing, we find the updated tariff sheets consistent with our directives in Order No. 35520. Accordingly, we accept the Company’s Filing. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Company’s Schedule 195 updated tariff sheets are approved, as filed, effective September 2, 2022. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order regarding any matter decided in this Order. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code § 61-626.
