RE:QWEST TARIFF ADVICE 02-21-N TO REVISE STABILIZED
TERMS FOR QWEST BUSINESS LINE PLUS, EFFECTIVE
SEPTEMBER 12, 2002
Qwest filed this tariff advice to revise its Northern Idaho Exchange and Network Services
Tariff to expand its Rate Stabilized Plan for Qwest Business Line Plus customers. Qwest's Rate
Stability Plan for these products will be changed from a 1 or 2-year plan to a maximum of three
years and protects the customers against Company-initiated rate "increases" (rather than the
current protection against "changes
).
Customers will be reminded that in case of early
termination, the customer will be obligated for the entire commitment period of the plan.
Qwest also will require the purchase of the Rate Stability Plan for its Qwest Business
Line Plus to qualify for each Qwest Utility Line (an additional flat rate access line for business
customers) that is purchased. The new three-year term is rated at the same rate as the two-year
term that is already in effect. Consequently, there should be no impact on revenue.
