Comment: "I am asking the commission not to approve the application for increase in rates by Avista. It seems to me that in every monetary faction of our lives, there are increases. We have
just been through one of the worst pandemics in history, our economy is failing, people have lost their businesses and livelihoods and homes. Every aspect whether it be gasoline, food,
mortgages, housing, utilities, cars... have increased exponentially. All the while, people are being paid very little, or are unemployed, and yet industry has decided to continue to gouge its
consumers. All the time, this is not the time to cruise consumers' bills. On another note, Avista has to pay a settlement stipulation and reimburse its consumers. This application has a stench
about it. The increase is rather convenient after having to reimburse its consumers for their bad behavior. Please do not approve this application!"
