Effective Sept. I , 2021 , an electric residential customer using an average of 892 kilowatt hours per month will see a $0.49 increase for a revised monthly bill of $86.12. Beginning Sept. l, 2022, an electric residential customer will see a $0.31 increase for a revised monthly bill of $86.43. Effective Sept. l, 2021, a natural gas residential customer using an average of 63 therms per month will see a $2.30 decrease for a revised monthly bill of $47.19. Beginning Sept. 1,2022, a natural gas residential customer will see a $0.76 increase for a revised monthly bill of $47.95. The settlement agreement will impact the amount of revenue that Avista gathers for its electric and nafural gas service, and includes the refunding of tax customer credits that will also impact how much revenue is gathered during the two-year rate increase. As part of the settlernent agreement, the company agreed it will not file another general rate case before Sept. 1, 2023.
