Comment: Over the past 3 years, there has been a drop in natural gas prices from $2.9c (S/MBTU) to 52.23. ln each
year there is a spike, typically around December or January. While this last spike in the winter of 2018-2019 was greater,
I assume due to the event in Canada that Avista has referenced, price has dropped to a lower level than any monthly
averageoverthistime period, Thereisnotjustificationforthereasongivenforapriceincrease. Asamatteroffact, I
would argue there should be a price decrease. Over the past year, costs are down almostZT%, &24% over the past 3
years, The source I'm using is the Wall St. Journal: Spot, FOB Henry Hub.
