SUBJECT: AVISTA'S ANNUAL PGA FILING, CASE NO. AVU-G-18-04
On August 27, 2018, Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities filed its annual
Purchased Gas Cost Adjustment (PGA) Application asking to decreose its annual revenues by
about $0.6 million(l%). Application at l.r The Company says its proposal will decrease rates
for an average residential or small commercial customer by $0.34 per month (0.7%). Id. at 5.
The Company states that it issued notice of this change via news release on August 24,2018. Id.
at 2. The Company asks that its Application be processed by Modified Procedure, and that the
new rates take effect November 1,2018. Id. at 5.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the case be processed through Modified Procedure, with
comments due by October 10, 2018 and reply comments due October 17,2018.
