I respectfully implore the committee to decline the offer from Hydro One,Avista Corp.,or any of its affiliates from taking
over Idaho Power or any other utilitycompany in the United States.United States utilitycompanies should not be run by
a forgein organization.This forgein company will not be abiding by United States law,but rather,forgein law.This will
put a hugefinancial burden on current customers through raised prices and an unfair market for Idahoans.This merger
would mean the end of utilities for thousands of customers.There are those that depend on Idaho Power prices to
maintain heat in the winter or coolness in the summer.Every part of our infrastructure would be negatively affected by
this unnecessarymerger.This will negatively affect small businesses,hospitals,schools,citizens,corporate businesses,
and government buildings.Not only will our power bills be nearly tripled,but all the aforementioned negatively affected
areas will be forced to raised their prices on their goods and wares to offset the cost of their power bill.Overall,this is
