Comment:I would like to protest the proposed large increase in monthly basic charge from $5.25 to $6.00.
The problem is,the customer is helpless to take any energy saving action to avoid this charge.This does not incentivizethecustomertoconserve.It does not promote sustainability.It is a burden on low income customers.
High income customers are fine -so this increase is regressive.
Find a way to reward those who are trying their best to keep energy usage down instead of penalizing everyone.
