Comment:Greetings,
I am a consumer with Avista Utilities.It received my monthly bill today to find with it,a
notice with a proposed increase of 6.9%in 2016 and another 6.7%in 2017.
I took it upon myself to visit your wonderful website,which I would like to say thank you
for such easy navigation and access,and I read one of,what looked like,court orders that
specified an award amount of about $5.5 million to the electric companies in the state of
Idaho.
So I suppose my question is this,Avista will be receiving a portion of that award amount on
top of the,sometimes outrageous,revenue from their consumers,is it appropriate to add more
burden upon the shoulders of the consumers after we already got hit with a 10 cent gas tax
increase?
If it is necessary that I would like to request paperwork showing where these funds are
going.
