To whom it may concern,
Here we go again, asking for another raise in the rate for Avista Utility Company. Why
cannot they do improvements and pay for them out of their profits, or, at least ask for
increases that are in line with the cost of inflation??'! 99% of the rest of us have to live
within those means.
Over the years we have done many things to try and keep our power bills low and
conserve energy. From florescent bulbs, to good insulation, insulated steel doors, double
pane windows, high efficient appliances, no air conditioning, thermostat set to 64 degrees
(F) maximum daytime and 60 degrees at night, high efficiency solar thermal hot water
system, Quadra Fire wood stove, etc., and still each year the bill goes up. Is there no end
to their insatiable rate increases??? It is not like there is a competitor that we can switch
to. Please, as citizens of Idaho we ask you to do what ever you can to keep these annual
rate increases as low as possible. How about one year of none. That would be a first I
would think, and you would be our hero's.

please! deny avista new rate increase of 10=11-12 they continue to use the same old
reason of repairing 'old' intrastucture. This is insane.The corprate officers continue to
recieve huge bonuses along with thier salary.We the people should not continue to have to be
the ones who bare this ... Please deny! !Thankyou for your time in this matter. enough is enough
