Dear IPUC,
I think it would be a great disservice to the people of Northern Idaho, who are Avista
customers, to allow them to raise their rates! My husband and I live in a 14X70 trailer in
Moscow and pay an exorbitant amount for our electricty and have even done all of the cost
saving measures! Right now, we are paying over $150.00 a month and that isn i t even their
· comfort payments'!
They are making money hand over fist and given the economic times, haven't taken pay cuts or
anything to make up for the new equipment they are saying they need. Why should the
consumer, who are FORCED to used them as they are the only game in town, be forced to pay for
their upgrades?
I implore you to please take a serious look at this and talk to their customers.......... and
look at their money flow.
