A vista has fied an application with the Idao Public Utilities Commission proposing to
increase Idaho electric rates by 12.8%. I believe there are many people in Idao that use
Avist as their electricity provider who canot aford ths kind of increase. That is
especially tre in our present economy. Infation is not increasing at that rate.
Pleas tae a good hard look at ths request before you approve it. I believe A vista
should cut back their spending like everyone else ha to durng ths economic decline.
I am not familar with Avista's needs, but I do not believe ths request should be granted
until the economy improves and people are more likely able to aford it.
