This i$ in regards to Avista requesting another rate increase. They were just allowed an
increase which seemed to raise our utility bills higher than they estimated. Now they want
anothe~ increase. During these extremely hard time and our utility bills being already high
due to ¡the cold winter J I don't feel they should be granted another increase. They need to
find c4ts wi thfn their company - - maybe not pay their employees such a high hourly wages.
Please 'do NOT grant another increase for Avista.

I want to know why we should have to pay for a rate hike when the price of gas has been
coming down. These people make huge profits and never spend their own money on improvements,
which is what their latest lies are about. The whole country is suffering and yet Avista
wants a rate hike so they can pay their fat-assed CEO's more money. I don't think it i S fair.
I also thought monopolies were against the law but here we have Avista with no competition so
they can charge what they want and we have to pay. Do us a favor and reject their rate hike.
