MINUTE ORDER
On July 17, 2009, the Commission issued Order No. 30856 authorizing Avista
Corporation dba A vista Utilities to increase its base rates for electric and natural gas service and
to decrease its electric Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) and its Purchased Gas Adjustment (PGA)
rates. The Commission ordered A vista to file new rate schedules within seven days. See Order
No. 30856 at 10-11.
On July 24, 2009, Avista timely filed new electric and natural gas rate schedules. The
Commission Staff reports that the new schedules comport with the requirements of Order No.
30856.
Accordingly, we approve Avista s new electric tariff Schedules 1 , 11 , 21 , 25, 25A
25P, 25PA, 31 , 41 , 41A, 42, 42A, 43 , 43A, 44, 44A, 45 , 46, 47, 47A, 49, 49A and 66; and new
gas tariff Schedules 101 , 111 , 112, 131 , 132 , 146 and 150 effective August 1 , 2009.
