Comment description: It is time that the IPUC stand up for the people and declineAvistas request to increase the rates on Natural gas and Electric. If you were toresearch their request, you would find that just a few years ago they were telling
everyone to switch over to Natural Gas because it was cheaper and more plentiful. Now
they are saying it is more and they have less for the demand. This company should be ableto cut costs within that would make up for the higher costs which they are claiming thatthey are paying. Every year they have this same story and the IPUC grants them their wish
and then they post a HUGE PROFIT!!! There are many people who struggle to pay their
utility bill, it is time that you, the commission stand up and say "NO", I am sure that
Avista would learn to curb their costs and buy more responsibly and still be able to bragabout their Huge Profit. Do it for the people this year and just say "NO!"
