Complaint description: When reading the Spokane paper I see that you soon will be asked too. k. pass ng on some kind of a "Rate hike " for all Natural Gas users. I think it was less
than 3 years since you said o. K. to almost a 20% now we are told that a 23% hike isneeded. I work at the local school and we just had a pay cut due to the schools going to4 day week to save taxpayer money, the school board had no choice. NOW I find out mybill for heat will go up. I cook, heat water and the house in the winter with NaturalGas. This part of the world was "sold" this as being a cheaper energy just a few decadesago now the cost is going up? I question how the earth is charging more for gas that isbeing taken off the ground area around gas. It is time to stop this now.
There is no way I can afford any more energy increase and I know I am not alone. Pleasetell them no. We all have to tighten our belt as it is now I'm using the Jimmy Cartersetting on my heater. I do not know how we will make it if you say they can raise ourbill. Avista needs to tighten up their belt.
