On December 22, 2000, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Modified Procedure in Case Nos. AVU-G-00-06 and AVU-E-00-11. The deadline for filing written comments was January 12, 2001. On January 11, 2001, Avista Utilities, by letter filing with the Commission, requests withdrawal of its Application. Reference IDAPA 31.01.01.068. With recent rate activity brought on by the volatile wholesale electric and gas markets as well as other recent changes to Avista’s miscellaneous fee schedule, the Company is of the stated belief that another Schedule 70/170 change is not appropriate at this time. Commission Decision Staff recommends that the Company’s request to withdraw its Application in Case Nos. AVU-G-00-06 and AVU-E-00-11 be approved and that the case docket be closed. Does the Commission find it reasonable to grant the Company’s request? vld/M:AVU-G-00-06_AVU-E-00-11_sw DECISION MEMORANDUM 1
