Country Club Hills Utilities, which serves about 147 customers in Idaho Falls, has sold its land and water production and distribution facilities to the Taylor Mountain Water and Sewer District. Country Club Hills operated since 1990 as a privately owned water utility with rates and customer service regulations set by the commission. Taylor Mountain Water and Sewer District is publicly owned, meaning its rates and service regulations are determined by its elected board and, thus, not regulated by the commission. County Club’s application to have its certificate cancelled is made by Michael Groth of Idaho Falls, the company’s owner. The president of the Taylor Mountain Water and Sewer District board is Randy J. Kern. The commission is taking comments on Country Club Hill’s application through Aug. 14. Comments are accepted via e-mail by accessing the commission’s Website at www.puc.idaho.gov and clicking on "Case Comment Form,” under the “Consumers” heading. Fill in the case number (CCH-W-15-01) and enter your comments. Comments can also be mailed to P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0074 or faxed to (208) 334-3762. ###
