Idaho Street Boise, Idaho 83702 Idaho Power is an electric utility providing electric service to approximately 430,000 customers in the state of Idaho. Idaho Power s service territory abuts PacifiCorp s service territory in eastern Idaho. Idaho Power and PacifiCorp jointly IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S PETITION TO INTERVENE , Page own the Jim Bridger Power Plant in western Wyoming. Idaho Power and PacifiCorp maintain several interconnections between their respective transmission systems. Idaho Power and PacifiCorp are signatories to numerous contracts and engage in various business transactions on an ongoing basis. For the reasons stated above, Idaho Power has a direct and substantial interest in this proceeding and intends to participate as a party to the extent necessary to represent its interests. No other party can adequately represent Idaho Power s interest in this matter.
