PAC-E-23-16. On June 21, 2023, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacificCorp (“Company”), applied for authority to defer incremental costs from third-party claims related to wildfires in Oregon in September 2020. The Company proposes that the incremental costs would represent the claims exceeding the Company’s insurance coverage currently included in rates. The Company would record the incremental expenses as a regulatory asset in FERC Account 182.3. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period. COMMISSION DECISION Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period?
